Happy, happy, happy, happy news!! Claire has been discharged from the hospital and is HOME! Nervous to leave the hospital; on oral meds for pain and infection. School wont be a reality for some time and she still has a surgery ahead of her... but she is home in her own bed, snuggled with her cat. Comfortable surroundings and the love of her parents and brother under her own roof. Thats good medicine. There is a still a long road ahead for Claire and Susan, Cassian and Nicholas. Keep them in your prayers. Surgery will be about six to eight weeks out, they predict. A lot of healing yet to do, but so happy she may do it in the comfort of her own bed. I have so many good people in my life. I cant possibly put into words what the support, the prayers, the healing thoughts and the love that has been extended to my beautiful little niece has meant. The voices of so many people were lifted in support and for that I am overwhelmed with gratitude. Thank you all. Thank you, God! Thank you. Thank you. Now, Claire... keep fighting, brave girl!! We love you SO MUCH!
