Happy happy joy joy!!! We are 100 likes away from 5000. How crazy is it that a simple page I started for friends and family to keep up with MEM in the beginning turned into something so beautiful and supportive. Thank you all for being here and helping spread awareness for Holoprosencephaly. Hope you all enjoyed your holiday. Ours was super busy and filled with lots of family. All 11 McIntyre grandchildren and even a great uncle from Georgia. Eventually MEM and I had to stay home and chill. She needed a good nap at home. Finding the Joy. This is something thats been on my mind. Nobodys life is perfect. Everybody has struggles. Even if you dont think they do. Sometimes we have to do things we dont want to. So.....find the joy. Make the best of it. I was so happy Christmas morning when I looked at Santas stash he had left for MEM. It consisted of a gait trainer, a Firefly Playpak and a iPod holder for her wheelchair. No toys. No hot gift item. All items to help her be physically stronger. But they brought me joy. Not sadness. Not once was I sad for her. I found the Joy that morning. Thank you for all the prayers last week. It was not a fun one. But we survived. She is finally eating better. No coughing. All seems great. All three girls have been sick so hoping they have all punched their card for winter illnesses. We would like to wish you all a happy new year. May 2015 bring you HoPE and Joy!!!!
