Happy #humpday everyone! ➡️Here is a Lateral Raise Variation utilizing cables..a great way to switch up the stimulus on the shoulders & maintain continuous tension. As with all movements, engage the working muscle first (deltoids) before the motion begins. Keep arms rigid and reach outward as far as possible, using only the medial delt to create & support the entire movement. It may help to flex/engage/flare out the lats to ensure that all extraneous muscles (such as traps) are eliminated from assisting. Pause at the top in peak contraction, then slowly lower under complete control. Perform impeccable reps to failure within your target rep range, then extend the time under tension utilizing partial reps and/or drop set(s). Keep on Killin it everyone! Take it to the #nextlevel!
