Happy independence day india.. But i doubt is it the same india Gandhi dreamt to be?? Is it the same which patel left no stone unturned to integrate together ? Is this india where soldiers join army to die?where people still sleep on footpaths and shining SUVs run over them rendering them foothpathLESS..where kisans commit suicide going bankrupt...where girls are gangraped and thrown out in public..where thousand tonnes go rotten but poor is starved of grains..,where people are hindus and muslims first then homosapiens..where criminals are leaders ...where love for the nation soares in cricket stadium with cheap plastic tricolours aired high and automatically gets subdued with these flags lying under the feet and then swept away by sweepers to clean the stadium...where lakhs of crores is floating but people have to survive with rs 26 a day...and many more to scribble.. No,this is not that india....problem is social,psycological and of course POLITICAL... Notwithstanding all these,we are largest democracy,we are one of the fastest growing economies,we have an independent judiciary we can rely upon,we are nuclear power,we are the ones who when show our might,whole world freezes and watches,despite so much desparities we are united... Need of the hour is a potent ,non-partisan ruling regime ,with exponential change in thoughts of people...then we will be surely indians,indians of Gandhi and Tagore...and then our independence day wud be happier for sure..
