Happy morning! Great to hear about early election results in Korea, particularly the reelection of Park Won-soon as Seoul mayor and the anticipated election of Cho Hee-Yeon as Superintendent of Education. Cho is a critical sociologist and former representative of National Association of Professors for Democracy, and he was of great help last year in organizing the press conference on democracy and Koreas national intelligence agency (seated next to me in photo). I am cautiously optimistic and grateful for the leadership ahead! :-)
