Happy new year to all of you!! Thank you for all your support for Isla over this last year, we wish you all lots of happiness and a healthy 2015. Isla is still stuck in hospital. Definitely not fighting a line infection her blood cultures are all negative which is the good news. She had a blood transfusion which we was hoping would perk her up but sadly shes still not well. We are still replacing losses for her, shes spiking low grade temps still and her heart rate is really high. We are on 20 hours of TPN and just seem to be stuck in a rut. She has hardly any energy to even sit up. Although shes quite happy there is just something thats not right with her. Doctors are thinking she has just picked up a nasty virus and are planning to stop antibiotics and see what happens. Im hoping this doesnt make her crash as we can tell shes fighting something we just dont know what we are fighting. All tests for the usual viruss are negative so doctors think its one of the rarer viruss. Obviously we dont know whats going to happen and the plan is to continue as we are, replacing losses over a certain amount and just hope she begins to perk up. Not the way we wanted to start 2015 but we will get there, we always do.
