Happy posthumous birthday to Dennis Carl Wilson from Hawthorne, California, drummer with the Beach Boys, who gave us todays sound of the season. Dennis was the middle Wilson brother and the only surfer in the group. Sadly, we lost him in a drowning accident in December of 1981, only three months after I saw them in concert. Heres a great live clip featuring Denny pretty prominently enjoying his drum kit. Dennis would have been 70 today.
