Happy sunday everyone.... Lets build a football sunday sandwich! Im going with fresh sour dough bread sliced -today....spread your favorite spreadable cheese - example garlic herb- you can make some as well by mixing whipped cream cheese and herbs and garlic together....ok back to the sandwich... Now that you have spread the cheese, place a piece of romaine lettuce- provolone cheese( you pick your favorite) chicken or turkey cutlet, italian fried peppers, another piece of romaine- sliced thin roma tomatoes, slices thin red onions- more cheese spread. Close sandwich cut in half and serve.... Now what will you serve it with...? Think my choice would be oven fried potatoes with garlic , olive oil and rosemary. When they are 99% done melt shredded cheese and crumbled bacon over the top when they are completely finished plate with sandwich and a side of spicy mayo dipping sauce.... Enjoy!
