Happy to announce, that the oft maligned Line Drive Band paid their dues, & finally claimed their rightful reward: playing to a large audience, studded with their musical peers. Seeing the bobbing faces of well-known area musicians, beaming as brightly as the new Gretsch being strummed on its first outing, was a sharp contrast to many evenings I witnessed, watching the trio play their hearts out to an empty room. Success is seldom overnight, & the trail is paved with frustration & disappointment. Good to see the guys finally win one.
