Happy to see 3D dead for now. But thats the thing... I think thats temporary. I think as tech evolves, and once 8k comes around, theyll have the tools needed to try it again, better, or at least what they think is better, and well be back here again. But I have zero faith that smart TVs will die off. I dont think any of the major manufacturers are ready to give up that ghost yet. Its just too easy a way for them to differentiate and value-add when prices are coming down and theyre desperate to bump prices a notch. I dont think thats going to change.
