Harassment from the enemy. Conflicts in this world. Difficult family dynamics and situations. Rough and ragged roads. Looming mountains. Trial. Trouble. Heartbreak. Mean folks. And callous humanity on every turn. Life can really turn it on full force! This morning, bright and early my phone began its urgent nudging.. Ping! Ping! Ping! Ping! Text messages . One right after another. Urgent in nature. A mom who was kicked out of her home, family stole her belongings, Ex threatening to take her kids. A young girl feeling like life is too tough and shes not sure she wants to be here anymore. Another dear one who lost his job and found out his wife is being unfaithful. A dear one who found out her mom has cancer. Wow.. Trials don’t stop when the lights go out. Sorrow doesn’t subside when we lay our heads on our pillows. Difficulties have no concept of time, fairness, or consideration. The final straw that ‘broke the camels back’ wasn’t necessarily… the heaviest. It was just ‘one-more-thing’ that challenged, hurt, and demanded. Listen… Adversity will rip everything from you except that which cannot be shaken. Lets make sure we have plenty of things then.. that no enemy, issue, or adversity can take or shake! Amen? Check your foundation and make it secure. Nurture your relationship with Christ and keep it strong. Winds come as they may—We have a hope. A strength. A joy. An answer. A God Who cares, controls, comforts, and creates paths of peace. God’s love for you is unfathomable. Don’t turn away from Him. His desire for you… canNOT be contained. Dont hold it at a distance. He will allow, orchestrate, arrange and predicate anything and everything .. So that you SEE this. He sends signs, signals, people and particulars, So that you will draw closer to Him quickly! The quicker we trust--The quicker we surrender-- The quicker we turn it all over to Him-- The quicker we stand on faith and not fear-- The quicker we give Him all the distressing debris.. The sweeter is the release, and the wisdom, and the joy! The more immediate is the peace, and the answer, and the guidance and direction from God! As much as we DON’T like going through… and we put off submitting to the process… It really IS.. the ‘going through’ that rips, and shreds our confidence and reliance in things of the flesh, That do NOTHING but bring us down, hold us back, and trip us up. It clears out the false hopes, lies, deceptions, and bad information, That hold us in bondage and chains. Adversity will rip everything from you except that which cannot be shaken. Only the Spirit, Only God, Only Christ…can give perfect peace and wisdom; provide unshakable faith, and bring astounding victory through this. We do not see as He sees, or hear as He hears, or walk as He would have us to walk WITHOUT HIM. We wont see Giants already defeated, and mountains already toppled, and problems already crushed, and enemies already defeated WITHOUT HIM. Feed that strong foundation. Be an active and excited participant in your ‘love’ relationship with God. Trust Him. Be real with Him. Don’t hold anything back from Him. Allow Him free access to each and every area of your life and situations So that your wisdom, direction, healing, and joy may be full, complete and quicker than you imagined. And be patient with yourself. Be tender with others who are ‘going through’ their tsunamis of trials too. We all need grace, love, support and help. I love you. I believe in you. God’s got you. Kim:)
