Hard day. Just Walmart with parents. Parents are delightful. But I lost or forget half of what I touched today. I was finally losing it in the checkout. I was SO overheated and nauseous, high blood sugar, due for benadryl... The mito fog sounds like a cop out but I kid you not, its a beast. The baseline fogginess, the late meds, the super overheating... And then the overstimulation means Im going through that store like Im halfway under anesthesia. I get so angry with myself. I cant try any harder. I start to wonder if the trying is making it all worse at this point. My stepdad and I have never clicked at all. We regularly butt heads. I passed by a bunch of candy and snagged and then hid a box of his favorite. He drove out with mom because the roads will be bad. I knew hed really appreciate the candy and recognize that as thanks. That says thank you to him, even if it wouldnt to me, and that has taken me many years to learn. He thanked me, too. He and I sure struggle, but I am half the equation. At home, drugged up, in bed with Lucy and an ice pack for ten minutes then off to Toto board meeting!
