Hard to believe it has been two years since I said goodbye to my sweet mom. In a way it seems like so much longer but yet it seems like yesterday. Although it has gotten easier to smile and remember all the good times , I still miss her so much everyday. I had a new patient today who knew her many years ago like the 40s) when she worked in a little store in Point Marion. She knew who she was immediately and said that she was always so kind. It is what everyone says when they speak of her. What a legacy to leave that everyone remembers you smiling and as kind... Even those who only knew you from waiting on them in a store over 70 years ago. When she was here at the house and so few people came to visit her she would say everybody has forgotten me and tears would roll down her face. I hope that as she looks down on everyone she can see that she is not forgotten.
