Hard to describe today... will try to post a video in a few days for people to get a sense of life here. Ruth had organized a large number of people to come together to help a single woman with children whos home was literally falling apart not being able to keep out the rain. Many of us met late morning, boarded a 14-seat van that would pass no inspection anyone could think of, broke down numerous times but with pushing the van was able to be brought back to life. We finally made it to the ceremony and it was really something special... people coming together just to help someone else in need. Getting home was another matter as the vehicle finally gave up the ghost a few kilometers from where the celebration took place. In time another vehicle came along and Ruth and others negotiated a ride back home. Quite the adventure and a good day overall... :-) Leaving for Nairobi tomorrow as the daily adventures continue... :-)
