Chad Clute - SS - 2015 - Hawley, MN Threw 82 across infield with good actions to ball, showed line drive swing plane with pop. Sam Cobbs - SS - 2015 - Woodbury, MN Good arm strength, up to 84 across diamond, showed interesting tools at plate with good power potential. Conner Davis - RHP - 2015 - Lees Summit, MO Up to 82 on mound with a side arm delivery. Good arm side run on fastball. Drew Denkinger - RHP - 2015 - Johnston, IA Large athletic build, up to 86 on mound and also ran a 6.88. Jake Esp - RHP - 2015 - Wheaton, IL Topped at 86 with projectable stuff. Mixed in good slider, fastball showed life to it. Has a loose arm action. Michael Failoni - RHP - 2015 - Chesterfield, MO Topped out at 83 with good command of his fastball and slider. Jack Hazlett - OF - 2015 - Lees Summit, MO Threw 86 from the OF with good actions and carry on ball. Has line drive swing plane and a mid field approach. Has good bat speed. Cole Kirchoff - OF - 2015 - Carver, MN Ran 6.99 sixty and showed good bat speed and power at the plate. Samuel Kornstad - LHP - 2015 - Urbandale, IA Deceptive delivery, up to 83 on mound with a good feel for a 74 MPH change up. Arm works well and has projection on mound. Jake Lafrenz - LHP - 2015 - Elgin, IL Fastball topped at 86 from a low 3/4 arm slot. Does good job of mixing and keeping hitters off balance with a 1/7 curveball with good bite and a straight change. Good upside on mound. Chris Mathieu - OF - 2015 - Gurnee, IL Ran 6.77 sixty and threw 82 from the OF. Also showed a good quiet approach at the plate with a mid field approach. Makes solid contact with bat speed. Payne McCutcheon - C - 2015 - Overland Park, KS Strong arm from behind plate throwing 78 and popping a 1.97, also threw 81 from OF, has simple swing and approach at plate. with good bat speed. Jake Milosch - SS - 2015 - St Charles, IL Topped at 83 on the mound and threw 81 across diamond with good actions. Has nice swing with a gap to gap approach with power potential. Jacob Morrissey - RHP - 2015 - Ankeny, IA Good arm strength, ball carries out of hand with low effort, threw 85 from OF. Also topped out at 82 on mound with quick harm and cut to fastball. Tyler Morton - RHP - 2015 - Columbus, NE topped out at 86 with a short quick arm action. Balanced and online delivery. Shlider has sharp bite. Also threw 84 across diamond with smooth actions. Ben Olson - LHP - 2015 - West Des Moines, IA Good arm strength from OF, throwing 84 from right and on the mound throwing 83. Has carry from the OF, on the mound, good command, mixes in 1/7 curveball with good break and shape. Scotty Palmer - RHP - 2015 - Elgin, IL Topped at 84 on mound with a high 3/4 arm slot. Stays online to plate and has clean repeatable delivery. Knows how to pitch. Mitch Pfeiffer - OF - 2015 - Barrington, IL Ran a 6.90 sixty and threw 85 from the OF with good actions, ball carried out of hand. Has contact approach at plate hitting to all fields. Evan Rathburn - SS - 2015 - Raymore, MO Athletic build, threw 86 across diamond with good fort work and lateral range. Shows good bat control and hand path to the ball. Edgar Sanchez - SS - 2015 - Montgomery, IL Makes solid contact at plate with good hands and bat speed. Has live bat and should continue to develop power. Joshua Scribner - C - 2015 - Raymore, MO Gap to gap approach with good pop, shows bast speed at plate. Topped at 80 from mound. Ethan Skender - OF - 2015 - Metamora, IL Threw 90 from the OF and 84 across diamond with good carry and actions from both spots. Showed good bat speed and pop at plate. Makes consistent solid contact. Carter Stoehr - 3B - 2015 - Woodbury, MN Topped at 88 on mound and threw 85 across diamond. Has gap to gap approach at plate with good contact. Good mix on mound with hard fastball, sharp slider and sinking change up. Austin Suhr - RHP - 2015 - Bettendorf, IA Topped out at 84 on mound with good upside. Mixes in sharp curveball and sinking change up. Justin Tallman - RHP - 2015 - New London, MO Ball comes out clean on mound, up to 85 working both sides of the plate. Also threw 85 from OF with good carry. Showed good hitting tools as well squaring the ball up consistently. Brooks Ullery - SS - 2015 - Mishawaka, IN Threw 86 from teh OF with good carry on ball and good actions, showed a short quick line drive swing with bat speed. Benjamin Whetstone - RHP - 2015 - Overland Park, KS Topped at 83 on mound with good repeatable delivery. Flashed plus curveball that he uses as an out pitch. Showed good hitting tools as well with a line drive swing plane. 2016 Top Prospects Jack Bellinger - RHP - 2016 - Schaumburg, IL Fastball topped at 81 with a long loose arm action. Fastball shows arm side run and mixes in a slider. Kyle Crowl - 3B - 2016 - Council Bluffs, IA Has strength in bat, showed good extension through the ball with a line drive swing plane. Threw 83 across diamond with athletic actions. Kace Massner - OF - 2016 - Burlington, IA Ran a 6.84 and threw 86 from the OF with good actions and carry on throws. Showed power potential at plate. Jordan McFarland - 3B - 2016 - Waterloo, IL Solid build, threw 83 from OF with good fielding actions, showed power approach at plate with good bat speed. Alex Mixon - C - 2016 - Ely, IA Strong build, up to 82 on mound with a good online delivery. Hides ball well and mixes in tight 11/5 curveball that is developing. Joey Polak - 3B - 2016 - Canton, MO Topped at 85 on mound with a fast arm, good straight change and flashed a tight slider. Also threw 83 across infield and showed fast hands at the plate with very good bat speed. Nick Price - C - 2016 - Aurora, IL Popped a 1.93 and threw 77 from behind the plate with good actions. Has quick feet behind plate. Topped at 82 on the mound with clean mechanics. Cole Stobbe - SS - 2016 - Omaha, NE Threw 83 across diamond with good actions. Shows good line drive swing plane at plate with gap to gap approach. Spencer Van Scoyoc - LHP - 2016 - Cedar Rapids, IA Young lean build with room to fill out, up to 82 but more velocity will come with strength. Clean repeatable delivery, fastball showed life and mixed in change up with good down action. 2017 Top Prospects Nolan (Nonie) Williams - SS - 2017 - Kansas City, KS Threw 84 from across the diamond, good idea what he is doing on INF, shows good line drive swing plane and makes solid contact from the left side and showed line drive swing plane from the right side.
