Hard working truck: $8500 OBO 2004 Chevrolet Silverado 2500 HD 3/4 ton 8.1L GAS V8 engine (aka 496 8100 Vortec 8.1L 8.1 Litre Liter) Allison 5 speed Automatic transmission (This is a very rare and hard to find combo; only 5% of trucks with this setup... ...as much power and capacity as a Duramax diesel, but less maintenance and costs associated. With gas under $2.00/gallon, this is WAY cheaper than a diesel truck.) 8 foot long bed (never had 5th wheel or gooseneck installed) 201,500 miles High miles yes, but these trucks run strong for well into 3-400K miles. I dont like chrome, so I have blacked out the wheels, grill, and bumpers. Those are the factory aluminum alloy wheels and the tires are about 60% overall average. They are 265 series Yokohama GeoLander, larger than factory which fills the wheel wells a little better. This is a very powerful and very solid truck. These are extremely stout tow vehicles for boats, campers, skid-steers/equipment, etc. etc., and are great for snow plow trucks as well. No issues except for the dent on the drivers door.
