Hardly surprising. Its a known fact that windfall riches are hardly ever retained for long by poor, financially-illiterate winners/donees. This is also why I hope financial literacy will become part of compulsory education here. There is no point giving our kids the skills & knowledge to land a well-paid job without also equipping them with the wisdom to manage the money that they earn and create alternate streams of income. Else we are just shackling them to a lifetime of drudgery.
