Hare Krishna Prabhus, When I joined ISKCON we were told by our authorities that unless and until one is completely cent percent surrendered to Lord Krishna without a tinge of material desire whatever feelings we might have in relationship to Him are only sentimental and sahajiya and should be disregarded. They are based entirely on the bodily concept of life and by cultivating such false ideas our spiritual progress will be hindered. Is this the proper understanding? Thank you
