Hari Om and Namaskaram, Wishes from Nityashree Balavihar. The Bhagwad Gita is recognized the world over as one of the greatest commentaries on the science of self realization and establishing an eternal relationship with God. The 18 chapters of the Gita delivers this powerful message from Lord Krishna to Arjuna on every aspect of human life. Gurudev Swami Chinmayananda espoused the propagation of the Gita to reach every single human being. Carrying forward the vision of Swami Chinmayananda to motivate people around the world to chant-study-know-live the Gita, Nityashree Balavihar established in the year 2000 in Chennai by sevika Mrs Shymaladevi, who has been training students over the years to chant-study-know-live the Gita. The Balavihar which started with just 2 students now regularly trains more than 100 students to recite the Gita. We believe in the motto “catch them young” and encourage children to join the Balavihar at a young age itself. The grasping power of Children is very high at a young age and their ability to absorb the complexities of the Gita in Sanskrit is phenomenal. Apart from training students to chant the Gita, this Balavihar also prepares students for various Gita Chanting competition across Chennai and other cities. With the devine blessings of Lord Krishna, it is now proposed to extend the Bala Vihar Classes of Bhagawad Gita to the children living abroad as many parents migrated from India, especially from Nanganallur, Chennai are looking forward to “skype” classes of Bhagawad Gita by “Nithyashree Balavihar”.
