Hariri: The Baabda declaration is the responsible road map towards dialogue and stability Former Prime Minister Saad Hariri made the following statement : “It is not recommended in these difficult days that we are all facing, to get into a sterile debate such as the one they are launching concerning the Baabda declaration. However, we fully agree with the content of the statement issued by the Presidency of the Republic in this regard, not out of courtesy towards the presidency and its clarifications, or to squash it in the corners of the current political polarization in the country and categorize it as being part of this group or that group, but as a matter of acknowledging a historical fact that goes back to less than a year ago. Unfortunately, some people who want to erase it from memory as well as from official records, in one media operation launched by the forces of confrontation and rejectionism (moumanaa). The Baabda declaration is the serious and responsible road map towards dialogue, stability and calm, so will the rejectionists learn the lesson?”
