#Harlem On My Mind, Too: Listen to Harlem Stories! Thursday, October 30, 2014, 6 - 8 p.m. Countee Cullen Branch Library NYPL, 104 W. 136th St. (between 7th/Lenox) Fully accessible to wheelchairs As part of his residency with The Laundromat Project, artist, poet and documentarian beluvid ola-jendai interviewed Harlem residents outside of 361 Laundromat (at 361 Lennox Avenue, Harlem, NY). This event is an opportunity to listen to the stories he recorded and celebrate the Harlem community! Come listen to a mini-documentary about Harlem by people who love Harlem, work in Harlem, and call Harlem home! This listening party is part of our programming for A Peoples History of Harlem, our NYPL Community Oral History Project.
