Harmony Show Choir Auditions are Tomorrow- Saturday, May 3 DATE & TIME Saturday, May 3, 2014 1:30PM VENUE Mainstage Dance Studio 475 Hurfville Cross Keys Road Sewell, NJ 08080 WHO WE ARE AND WHAT WE DO Harmony Show Choir is a highly acclaimed ensemble of young performers who strive to bring entertainment, great music, and inspiration to the South Jersey community and beyond. The group consists of talented and dynamic high school performers trained to perform an array of music and dance for a wide variety of audiences. Students selected to be a part of this gifted ensemble will have the opportunity to fine tune their craft with intensive instruction from a professional staff of artists. Rehearsals will take place on Sunday evenings from 5:30 - 8:30PM at the Mainstage Dance Studio in Washington Township: 475 Hurffville Cross Keys Road, Sewell, NJ 08080. Performance schedules vary from year to year. We expect and understand that some conflicts may arise. We are able to work with most schedules and other school, theatre, and community activities. AUDITION INFORMATION Audition sign-ups will be at 1:30PM. Please bring a headshot or photo with you. We will begin with a choral audition followed by a dance audition. Evaluation will be based on skill, potential, work ethic, and the ability to work as part of an ensemble. Please wear or bring appropriate clothing and footwear for your dance audition. Following the dance audition, some people may be asked to perform a solo. Prepare approximately 32 bars (no more than 1 minute) that best demonstrates your vocal range and ability. Bring an instrumental track or sheet music in the appropriate key. A capella auditions are not permitted. In some instances, an additional callback may be necessary.
