Harper had great check ups this past week with Pulmonary and GI. They were both happy to see that she now weighs 25 pounds!! All seems to be going well. We discussed her treatment possibilities if she were to get sick this winter. Pulmonary likes to have a plan in place for any winter illness or trach infections. Since antibiotics were the cause of C-diff, they want to be careful in deciding what antibiotics to use if she were to need them. For now, we will use Amoxicillin and Bactrum if needed. If those dont work, then GI will decide how to treat further. Other than that, the only thing we are adding is micro lipids to night feeds. So Harper will be receiving extra fat in her daytime and night time tube feeds. No other changes. Things are going too well to make any major changes. So for now, we wait to see ENT in December when they will do another bronchoscopy, then see what they are thinking after that. For the remainder of the weekend, Harper got to spend some time with some of her favorite friends, Anna Claire, Ella, and Emma. They had a great time playing and calling the HOGS! And she also got a new pair of Cinderella glass slippers.
