Harper signed a trade agreement with Jordan, which cuts off hands as punishment. Good thing were keeping up with our human rights guidelines. Looking around for reports of this on the gc.ca site, I came upon this gem. In case you get arrested and need some consular help (linked off the travel Canada Jordanian page): travel.gc.ca/about/assistance/consular/arrest Guess I didnt pay my tax bill on time, so they cut off service. (Or, if youre arrested, dont bother surfing gc.ca...)
