Harper will be ADOPTED! This poor girl is one of the Goldens we received from a horrible breeder. She has entropion (eyelids growing back in her eyes) and it is very very painful. She is having her surgery on 11-25. In the meantime she will be going to her adoptive home and they will be caring for her so she can begin to acclimate to positive human contact, other dogs, love, care and so much more. The family adopting her lost their Golden a few months ago and they said that Harper just spoke to them. They drove up from Jenison today to pick her up (and we all know how glorious the roads are). They understand what they are dealing with....a dog who has never experienced anything...not eating out of a bowl (she would only eats snacks off the floor), not running and playing in the snow, not going for walks, or riding in the car, or doors opening and closing, nothing. I know she will blossom quickly! Have a happy life Harper!
