I am soliciting the prayers of my friends in Christ for my dear friends daughter. I know you hear me speak of the DO Foundation quite often. Today I visited the daughter of the CEO of the DO Foundation, Erica Horton. She is a patient at Henry Ford Hospital. She seems to be having multiple focal and petit mal seizures due to a brain tumor. While visiting I witnessed this young 25 year old have a seizure. She has severe headaches, slurred speech and some loss of hearing due to the the tumor. Doctors will have to operate today or tomorrow. Because a functioning MRI cannot be performed the surgery will be high risk. Erica faces the risk of losing her hearing, speech or both. We cannot let that happen. The God we serve answers by fire. He is the God of miracles, the God of Healing. I know in my heart God never fails. As we pray for Erica, let us pray for the Neuro Surgeons to guide their hands and bring Erica out of this state totally healed. Pray for her mother Kelly D. Adolph, her sister Britnie Miah and the rest of the family. Mom needs strength today and tomorrow to carry her through this trial. Any mother reading this post understands the emotions and feeling of fear Kelly is experiencing now. A few moments of prayer is all I am asking. Thank you Lord for giving us the gift of prayer and the power of prayer to meet our every need.
