Harrisonburg and Rockingham County Middle School students are - TopicsExpress

Harrisonburg and Rockingham County Middle School students are asked to make a video that demonstrates their knowledge of distracted walking and the dangers it poses as they alert their friends to the dangers. We want energy, creativity and skill as they perform a rap, cheer, dress up in costumes, act out characters, or create a storyboard. They are limited only by their imaginations. To help the students with this project, attached is an instructional video for what we’re looking for and give a few tips to make the submission even better. Videos are submitted to Safe Kids Central Shenandoah Valley led by the Harrisonburg Fire Dept. by February 1st. All submissions will be reviewed and the best video selected will be entered into the national final. The local winning student/team will win a $50 Amazon gift card.
