Has ANYONE actually made it to the end of this phonebook? Rand may have been a grumpy hag in a lot of ways, but her work has been grossly misinterpreted, and exploited in ways that even the Prophet herself probably couldnt have foreseen. Her grumpiness and cold affect is justified in my opinion considering the hellhole she escaped from in Totalitarian Russia. She witnessed the Horrors Of War and Institutionalized Repression first-hand. Its also important to note, from a psychoanalytic perspective, Rand being a Semitic Jew, might have developed a bit of a Nazi fettish for blond blue eyed Übermensch. Rand glorified the American Dream not for political gains, or campaign, but because she herself was living proof of its word. The danger lies not in her Ideals, or Beliefs, but in the Distortion, or Misrepresentation of her Beliefs. Rands true genius is in her Aryan love-child Howard Rork, the protagonist and unlikely savior of her finest work, The Fountainhead.
