Has any Center Hillians noticed the new speed limit sign on each end of town? It reads 25 mph unless other wise posted. This is the same sign that has caused all the chaos in the villages recently. Wildwood Police Dept website said that they were asking the county to take them down because they were afraid it would cause people to think the limit was suddenly dropping to 25 when it actually wasnt and slam on brakes causing a possible accident. Seriously...do we need this here because most everyone in sumter knows what to go in Center Hill (unless they are outsiders passing through) and that if you go as little as one mile over you are getting fined. And Im serious about the one mile. My wifes Godmother was going 36 a few years ago and they stopped her. Just my thoughts.
