Has anybody been watching the Yesterday history channel lately? They did ones about the celtic bog bodies, stonehenge, pompeii, an analysis of the Jesus image we recognise now and its origins and the inca empire. Turns out or ancestors were just as batshit crazy as we are, Stonehenge was the English lourdes, Jesus is based on even more pagan gods than I thought, the bog bodies were likely kings or earls who were sacrificed to the gods of fertility because their tribes thought the weathers shift to colder climates was a sign that the gods were angry with them or that their rulers were incompetent and the Inca were good politicians.
