Has anyone compiled a list of institutions with solar installations like this in the Bay Area? I noticed this 1 megawatt system a few months ago while driving along Richmond Parkway in Richmond, CA; Id never heard of this installation. On the districts website its hard to find any info about this project. It appears that EPA funding was involved, although its not clear from the pdf write-up. How about a 20 megawatt system for the Port of Oakland? The solar panels are located on a 10-acre site which incorporates a storm water detention basin, and are part of a wastewater treatment facility located outside Richmond, California, near San Pablo Bay and San Francisco Bay. Renewable Energy Development West County Wastewater District collaborated with Premier Power and Solar Power Partners, Inc. (SPP Inc.) to develop a photovoltaic (PV) electrical production system for its energy-intensive wastewater treatment plant. SPP Inc. served as the project lead, managing the design and construction of the PV system. Premier Power, a solar power systems provider, built the 1 megawatt (MW) PV system under the direction of SPP Inc.
