Has anyone dealt with being told that their breastmilk isnt calorically dense enough and that they need to start supplementing - either pumping and adding formula to every pumped bottle or offering however much formula baby will take after breast feeding on both sides for 15 min? My daughter is one month and is 2 oz under her birth weight, so this is what my pediatrician wants me to start doing. Im also calling a lactation consultant, but just wondering if anyone has gone through this. Thanks!
