Has anyone else had an invasion of flies? We never have much problem with flies, and now they are everywhere. I hate them bumping into me, and there were 3 on the monitor screen just now. We had to get fly repellant for Nub, never had to before. And Ray got a trap and hung it on the front porch, and we smelled something dead right away, and figured out it was the fly trap, smelling like rotted meat. Moved it out to the pine tree, but can still smell it once in a while. Also, our willow tree is buzzing with some sort of bee/wasps, thousands of them. And its not a good idea to go out to the mail box barefooted - I was trying to get a closer look so I could question the Extension Department, and got my toe bit. Not as bad as being stung, but not a pleasant experience. Im thinking this is getting ready for a really bad winter?
