Has anyone else realized that you can use the engine guards as leg rests on long rides? I just realized how awesome this was today. My knees have been killing me as Im about 6000-7000 miles in on this Mexico/Central America trip. I was on a long stretch between Vallidolid and Merida, MX and had enough. I lifted my legs up and rested them up on the engine guards, Easy Rider style. Works wonders when you just need to stretch the legs some without stopping or dragging your legs off to the sides.
