Has anyone ever had their Internet Explorer (LEASE) expire?? Mine did and I no longer have IE on my computer, thus cannot get online.. My connectivity is still there, it is just that there is no way to get onto the internet... After searching all avenues of help, found out that my proxy server ID number is missing in my LAN settings and also my full control as administrator is unavailable.. Neither can be changed... very frustrating!!! Mick talked to a young man at Best Buy who said this is a rare occurrence and if I will bring in my laptop he will check it for free and let me know how best to fix the problem.. Have tried numerous times to restore to a previous date but it keeps going back to 03/28... the day that I lost everything??? I have had so many computers over the years and cannot believe this has happened... I had never even heard of this before???
