Has anyone ever had their LO in diapers get a yeast infection? Im not even sure if thats what Ollie has. A little background: We were using pampers and he never got more than irritated skin. Id put coconut oil on it and it was gone by the next diaper change. Pampers were GREAT. Well weve been using luvs, SAMs brand, and target brand. Since then hes had rash after rash. BUT they all went away with CO. Now: He has this weird rash but it sort of goes away after a bath. I guess maybe the bath soothes it a little but it hasnt completely went away. CO isnt even working. Yesterday my SO and I noticed he smelled funky down there, like in his creases. (He has chunky chunky legs). It smells like a belly button sort of.. Weird. But hes NEVER had a funky smell. He gets a bath every night and the smell comes back by the next diaper change. The only difference is we arent using scented wipes right now.. But Ive never noticed this smell before when we couldnt buy scented. I put cornstarch on his bottom instead of CO tonight HOPING this helps.. Any idea what this could be? Does this sound like a yeast infection? Do I need to make an appointment? -Sara
