Active cancer cells produce Chorionic Gonadotrophic Hormone, or CGH which is the also detected in women during the first 8 weeks of pregnancy. Some doctors have reported more than 95% accuracy of the test even in the very early stages of cancer, before there is any manifestation of cancer. If a man tests positive, he has cancer.
