Has anyone ever sat and thought about: what if every person that we have ever known in our lives starting from the day that we were old enough to remember, decided to join Facebook and then began to find us and add us to their friends list. What would that actually be? Facebook Mayhem? It seems that recently, many people that I once knew have come to the Facebook arena. Well, once youre here, what do you do...you begin building a so-called Friend Base. Then Facebook begins to introduce more people that you may have gone to school with, or studied with, or worked with in your past. Some people you actually remember and others you have to struggle to access that RAM (random access memory) in your brain to recall, where the hell did I know this person from. Sometimes, you have to actually fake a smile or a lol and pretend to know these people who are Facebook Freshmen and have decided it was time for them to make an appearance on the ever popular Facebook Page. It very much reminds me of those days that you would throw a party and by the end of the night, six times the amount of people that you actually predicted would show up actually come. If you have enough food and drinks, its pleasing...lmao Then out come the pictures...yes, the infamous pictures that we have all gathered from those brown paper bags that are full of black and whites and even slides that were at one time very popular. We digitize whatever we can so that we can publish them and let the world know...see, you were in this picture, so we have to be friends. Is that how it works? Im not sure anymore, because I spend more and more time responding to friend requests and the list gets larger by the week. It brings happiness but sometimes reminds us of those that we have lost. The good thing is, we still have those pictures to share and maybe deep down within, this is really what Facebook is all about. My fear is that one day, the nurse who was there to deliver me when mom gave birth is going to show up and say....her there, Im the one that brought you into this world...ahahahahaahah
