Has anyone heard of this supposed growing trend of fake DIY braces at home thats popular in the Philippines? The photo that is on the cover of this article thats even posted on the Philippines Dental Associations Facebook page is disturbing and not even an actual photo of an at home braces case. Its apparently the photo of a man that had braces and had a baseball accident. The original dentist that posted about the at home braces used this baseball accident patients photo instead. Supposedly this was an actual patient of his. The dentist probably used the baseball accident photo because it is more dramatic and disgusting.
