Has anyone ridden the Dupuis Reserve trails in Indiantown? This state forests 20,000-plus acres serves as a state reserve where a 11-mile out-and-back trail, plus a 28-mile out-and-back on double-track service roads provide the setting for a memorable ride near the great Lake Okeechobee. The lands native forests and flatwoods make up the bulk of the acreage, but the diversity of this landscape is revealed by its cypress domes, sawgrass prairie, and pasture; theres even 270-some-odd acres in citrus trees. Likewise, a wide range of animals make their home inside the reserve -- wiggling, flapping, and galloping to their hearts content.
