Has anyone switched their cable? I have been researching and just read an article in Consumer Reports. I currently pay $260 per month on COX, TV, Internet and Phone. I realize I am overpaying by at least $100 a month. I can lose the phone entirely and cut back on TV. I still need the fastest internet I can get. I cant believe how much they are charging me for TV and I only watch basic channels. So looking into maybe cutting the cord there entirely and just using netflix and apple TV for shows. I wish they had Aereo here (online live TV streaming). Also considering FIOS, although thats a tough one for me, because it was the Verizon vs FCC case that struck down net neutrality. (Means that the ISP can block, choke, boost certain websites and services and charge for e.g. Netflix a premium. In the past all web traffic was equal, and should remain that way. Loss of net neutrality is BAD for consumers, very bad. Actually Obama signed this away almost 2 years ago and none noticed, or cared). Also Dish network is an option for TV. For internet, I need cable, or fiber if I can get it. Anyone else switched? Cut the cord? Any advice/Experiences?
