Has anyone that had the Aon appointment been told what the average premium for Secondary Medicare Insurance be? At the Aon meeting that I attended in Atlanta we were told that the premium would average $150 to $250 a month... If you are on a lot of meds then it will be much more.Of course, this was speculation on their part at the time. This is how they computed the $2700 that they will put in our HRA. I am urging everyone to sit down and see what your yearly spending is at this time.. It might shock you. Then ask yourself, if you are in your 60s , can I afford to keep spending the way that I am for the next 20 to 30 years? We all have to plan that our money will not run out due to inflation.. Watching my mother budget her retirement taught me that getting old is all about planning... She taught me,,, if you dont need it, dont buy it. I am seeing lots of older folks, some in their 80s having to work just to supplement their SS. Plan, plan, plan....
