Has been raining here all week. Summer downpours contrasted with 90 degree heat has sent my allergies into overdrive. I seem especially susceptible to those molds which grow in standing water with oppressive heat. No relief until next week. Took a drive between showers and encountered a doe with two spotted fawns. Soon thereafter a fox trotted across the road and paused to stare at me before scampering on. I then saw the tail of another fox, which turned out to be a big orange farm cat. I guess they too have business to attend to between showers.
