Has mainstream Philippine cinema no ambitions of exporting films to other countries (not only to OFWs)? Coz I think this is one reason standards are so low. Philippine audience in general still eats up everything offered in local mainstream cinema (which if you think about it, looks more like a big screen extension of local TV) no matter how redundant and crappy. And our theoretical we easily forgive mentality gets poorly made films off the hook easily, with the producers thinking theyre doing a great job. Come on. Lets attempt to imperialize the rest of the world or even just Asia with our own blockbuster hits. Dont settle for kumita na sa Pilipinas. Ok na yan. Next! AMBISYON NAMAN DIYAN.
