Has the BJPs Black Money in 100 days poll ruse backfired on it? Black money has been targetted since the last 5 years now. First Subramanian Swamy managed to acquire an unofficial list of names and put it up. Ramdev started speaking about it in his yoga shivirs. Kejriwal started talking about it soon after. The topic set the social media aflame, and every one was talking about it within a year. The SIT under the UPA acquired its own list, which was said to match Swamys list in content, but not in figures. Some of the accounts even read 0. It was apparent that much money had already been moved by the scamsters. The UPA managed to put a lid on it through a SC order that prohibited the list from going pubic. In such a scenario, was it not obvious that money kept in the original list would completely be moved before the elections? Why did the BJP assume that acquiring it would take only 100 days? The money can still be acquired, but following the money trail can take at least a year (if not years). Some of it is back in India, inflating the economy manifold. About getting the money back from tax-havens, the less assumed the better.
