Has the news got you all worked up and scared about superbugs out - TopicsExpress

Has the news got you all worked up and scared about superbugs out there like: Ebola, Mystery Respiratory virus, and the drug resistant superbugs like MRSA and C. Diff? Every time I turn around Im seeing another fear-based article on one of these three bugs. Well, you need to take a deep breath and relax! All those articles are going to do is crank your adrenal glands up into fight or flight mode, which will compromise your immune system, shut down your digestive system, block your thyroid from working optimally, prevent Vitamin D from being made and just make you feel plain lousy! Remember, your immune system will do an amazing job all by itself if you will support it with the right foundational pillars of proper nutrition, hydration, movement and peace. When the body has all the ingredients it needs and you avoid what it doesnt need then it can function properly and fight off these type of bugs. In the rare case where you have a good foundation and are still sick then I would turn to some of these other options. There are some great options out there to combat these bugs that you probably have never heard of but in the Functional Medicine world they have been widely studied and utilized. Options like high dose IV vitamin C, ozone, and IV silver. These unconventional treatment options have been around for 50-100 years, they have dozens if not hundreds of studies proving their effectiveness, and have little to no side effects. I encourage everyone to to read Dr Thomas Levys books on vitamin C: Curing the Incurable and Primal Panacea, Dr Shallenbergers book on ozone: Principals and Applications of Ozone Therapy, and The Wonders of Colloidal Silver by Coburn. These therapies have been proven to be very effective against the toughest bugs. Another benefit of membership at Veritas Medical is having access to these and other healing modalities at discounted rates. Dr. Ben
