Has this happened to anyone else? Im recording a new tune and Im doing the bass track and Im not getting the tone through the DI box that I want, so instead I think why dont I just use the Line out of my from my Ampeg head? So I unplug my amp head from the speaker to bring it closer to my recording set, plug in my bass, plug in the line out and off I go. Once done, I plug the head back into the speaker and theres no power...shes dead, wont turn on. did I just blow a fuse or could I have done something worse that Im unaware of? The guy at the music shop said that not having it plugged into a speaker and just using the Line out could have caused some thing to blow because the head has no where to send the signal? Does that make sense? Ever happened to anyone else?
