Hasbara literally means “explaining,” is the term used in Israel for government propaganda aimed at overseas audiences in social media, from face book to G+ to anywhere discussions are taking place online about Israel’s atrocities, Palestinian sufferings, Jews, Muslims and terrorists. They have their own “war room” with a military commander (Bar David was a captain in the Israel Defense Forces, serving in the office of the military spokesman’s unit) to spread their propaganda as well as focus their attack’s on those that expose their folly and propaganda. Clearly, willfully and intentionally trying to claim Muslims are terrorists and they are only defending themselves.
