Hasbro has finally decided to kill the collecting hobby to so many - TopicsExpress

Hasbro has finally decided to kill the collecting hobby to so many people, that they have increased the already ridiculous price of $9.99 to $12.99 and up. The figures are 5 POA, the paint is never good, the scuplts have decreased in accuracy, and the packing are either zero or a small weapon. No way will anybody pay these prices for a 33/4 action figure. To avoid paying this outrageous price, is to buy the figures by the case in the assortment at a decent price at Entertainment Earth, Brian s Toys, conventions or a toy dealer hobby shop. Paying that price at retail wont fly with the average consumer. Hasbro is trying to kill the hobby of collecting, just so this might help young kids find the figures better that they want. This isnt going to help that Hasbro, though I wont stoop so low to pay $12.99 for a rehash 5POA figure...this is going to kill the Star Wars brand as a whole. Hasbro needs to decrease not increase if they expect to stay in the market with other toy companies selling their action figures at a lower price point. Competition is the key, so if I was a Hasbro rep or CEO, I would help the consumer by decreasing the price perhaps to $5.99. Can you do that Hasbro, or do you want to see all your toys peg warm in the aisles until its time to clearance them off by a good 25%.
