Might sound stupid to you, but may be you should think about it. Imagine Bill Gates and Zuckerberg had stood in front of a video camera and explained the world about ALS, and then asked you to donate for the research. How many would have done that? I am sure not even a quarter of who have done it now. The fun element of pouring ice water which came along with the serious note is what made the difference. Just because of this idea, hundreds of thousands of people have come to know about even the existence of such a condition. I am one. We are not just pouring ice water on us, but donating as well. Donate your share at alsa.org/donate/ (I forgot to mention this in the video) Not necessary that you have to donate for ALS research itself. Help anyone in need in any way possible, and thats what matters. If you think a you are wasting a bucket of water, take one, go to the nearest person in need, and give it to them. You can do anything that can help someone in need. You might choose your way of doing it. We chose ours. #IceBucketChallenge, #StrikeOutALS!
